What Is Singapore 4D?
Singapore 4D (Four Digits) is one of the most popular lottery games operated by Singapore Pools, the only legal lottery operator in Singapore. In this game, players pick a 4-digit number from 0000 to 9999 and wait for the official draw to see if their number matches any of the winning combinations.
It is a legal, regulated form of entertainment. All proceeds contribute to supporting social causes through the Singapore Totalisator Board.
When Are the Draws Held?
Singapore 4D draws take place three times a week:
- Wednesday
- Saturday
- Sunday
Occasionally, Singapore Pools holds Special Draws on select dates, announced in advance on their official website. These are popular events with additional prize opportunities.
How to Buy a 4D Ticket

Bet Types Explained
Ordinary Entry
You pick a specific 4-digit number. Your number must match the drawn winning number exactly in the same position (for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd prize) or appear as one of the 10 Starter or 10 Consolation prizes.
System Entry
A System Entry automatically generates all possible permutations of your chosen digits. For example, if you choose a number with 4 unique digits, the system generates up to 24 permutations. This increases your chances of winning but costs more.
- System Roll: You fix three digits and "roll" the fourth, covering all 10 possibilities (0–9) for that position.
- i-Perm: Available online — covers all unique permutations at a reduced cost.

How Results Are Drawn
At each draw, Singapore Pools randomly selects 23 winning 4-digit numbers:
- 3 Top Prizes (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
- 10 Starter Prizes
- 10 Consolation Prizes
The draw is conducted under strict regulatory supervision to ensure fairness and transparency.
Responsible Play Reminder
4D is a game of chance. There is no guaranteed strategy to predict winning numbers. Always play within your means, set a personal budget, and treat it as entertainment — not as a source of income.
